Rotary Toddlethon – Wednesday 10th May 2017

This annual event is open to pre-school and nursery groups, child-minders and families.

Children are sponsored to “toddle” (walk, cycle, pushed in buggies) once around the cycle track in Poole Park.

Over the last 15 years, the Poole Bay Rotary Toddlethon has raised nearly   £57,000 and supported a range of local, child related charities including: Poole Young Carers, Life Education Wessex, Julia’s House and Montacute School, as well as Rotary’s key international project – Polio Eradication worldwide

After the toddle there’ll be refreshments and entertainment, completely free of charge, as our way of saying ‘thank you’

It’s a great way of involving young children, supporting their personal, social and emotional well-being and understanding of the world, as they begin to understand the needs of others, share experiences and support each other’s similarities and differences. Not to mention the sheer thrill of achieving what they set out to do and completing the toddle with pride!!
