Our aim for our Rainbow Explorers room is to nurture our children to develop holistically following the Early Years Foundation Stage enabling them to develop essential life readiness skills.

Our Rainbow Explorers room is held in its own large purpose-built unit (with separate entrance) attached to the main nursery with rear doors opening into one of our large gardens.

Our children are given time and space to be their own designers in their play and learning, allowing them to organically develop skills of empathy, kindness and compassion for others as they negotiate skills of self-help, turn taking and independence.

Rainbow Explorers is a place where curiosity is created, critical thinking happens, and imagination is formed. This teamed with enthusiastic, responsive practitioners who are experienced and qualified spark a truly magical environment.

Furnishing and equipment have been thoughtfully chosen to create a high quality, age appropriate environment, allowing children to become absorbed in their own ideas and achieve their full potential.

We believe that a child’s work is their play and therefore all our activities are fun, enjoyable and play based.

Within the first five years of life 75% of a child’s brain is developed. At Rainbow we are passionate in ensuring our nursery, our team and our approach helps set children up to be happy, sociable individuals we have a love of learning.
